Johannes vom Shanty-Chor Essen Oldenburg hat Axel von Guten Morgen Niedersachsen die berechtigte Frage gestellt, warum eigentlich kein Shanty im Radio läuft. Und er hat recht: wir brauchen dringend einen zeitgemäßen Shanty.

Ihr wisst ja: wir lieben die norddeutsche Shanty-Tradition. Lasst uns deshalb den Wunsch von Johannes erfüllen und gemeinsam einen modernen Shanty schreiben. Ihr habt uns großartige Vorschläge für Songs geschickt, die wir neu aufleben lassen sollen, vielen Dank dafür!
